Upon completing the course, you will be able to:
- predict the effect of parasitic elements on capacitor and inductor performance at higher frequencies
- convert series circuits to parallel equivalents and vice versa
- decide when to treat interconnects as transmission lines
- design impedance matching networks analytically
- use the Smith Chart for matching network design and to visualize circuit performance
- use transmission lines for matching networks
